Visitors are welcomed at GMAC, flying or just visiting, local or overseas visitors.
You may either come unannounced or book an appointment. Please use the Contact form available from the top menu for an appointment. There is usually somebody at the Club, best time is the mornings and weekends on a clam winds, no rainy day.
If you wish to fly at our field as a guest, it is perfectly possible providing that some conditions are met:
- You must be a current member of MAAA or FAI recognised overseas Club member. ID will be required. Please refer to MAAA MOP 42 for details
- Depending on your flying skills you may need to fly with supervision from one of the Club instructors/members
- You need to become familar with and observe our Club rules
- You need to register at the Club guest book and one of the members must sign you in, explaining the Club rules in the process
The Club does not provide airplanes so you need to bring your own airplane and radio equipment. Equipment must be of an standard approved to be used in Australia.
